RAD Wheel Locks help prevent wheel theft and corresponding vehicle damage and inconvenience by requiring a special key to remove the lug lock. The key combinations are provided by varying tooth count of the lock sets. Four locking lugs, one key, one key code card, and detailed fitting instructions are supplied in each set. A lost key can be replaced by using the code from the included key card.

Some specific kits are packaged as having a .5mm size increment, these are functionally the same as the rounded size listed.

Audi and VW vehicles using a 5x112 or 5x100 bolt pattern use a 14mm diameter bolt with a 1.5 thread pitch.
OEM Audi and VW wheels with the exception of the Q5, SQ5, Q7, and Touareg use an R13 ball seat bolt.
OEM Audi Q5, SQ5, Q7, and VW Touareg wheels use an R14 ball seat bolt.
Aftermarket wheels may require an R12, R13, or R14 ball seat or a cone seat type bolt depending on the manufacturing of the wheel.

RAD Wheel Lock Manufacturing:
RAD Wheel Locks are premium German made locking lugs, they are produced by a cold-forging process using only high-grade chemistry steel made by certified steel-mills. Each lock is DACROMET coated to prevent rusting and galling. RAD Wheel Locks are hardened and tempered to DIN/ISO 898 standard to conform to strength class 10.9. They meet the statutory requirements of all countries - including those of the USA (FQA).

If you are using wheel spacers and have different length bolts on each axle please let us know on your order notes if you wish to have matching keys on orders of multiple lock sets.
