The APR MS100030 Boost Tap for the EA113 and EA888 Gen 1 / Gen 2* engines is a simple, yet elegant solution for referencing boost pressure and vacuum as is commonly necessary for boost gauges. . A T-junction allows for multiple boost and vacuum references and a 'no buzz' restrictor pill allows for proper manual boost gauge operation. The system also includes a threaded PCV plug, allowing the PCV system to operate as intended by the OEM, as well as blocked off if needed for a specific PCV or catch-can setup. Furthermore, temporarily installing the threaded plug allows for quick diagnosis of the PCV valve for boost leaks.

In addition to the boost tap, APR provides several extra components to help suit each individuals needs. For those requiring more than one reference source, a T-Fitting allows for more tapping points. In the case where a mechanical boost gauge is used, the brass restrictor pill limits flow and cures gauge buzz. 96 inches of 200 PSI hose is included with OEM style ear clamps and black cable ties to allow for neatly routing hose through the engine bay.
