The APR DV100001 R1 Diverter Valve is a critical performance upgrade recommended at all stages of performance as it replaces the failure prone factory plastic 06A 145 710_ valve. The APR R1 is designed to withstand extreme boost pressures at the highest levels of performance, while offering lightning fast response thanks to the unit’s friction-free Nomex-reinforced diaphragm. Unlike other aftermarket piston based DVs that can stick and bind, the APR R1 is virtually maintenance free, requiring no greasing or o-ring replacements.

The diverter valve in your car regulates your boost pressure levels. At idle, the valve is opened from vacuum pressure. When you depress the throttle, vacuum is reduced and the diverter valve begins to close. When fully closed, turbo boost is allowed to be delivered to your engine. When you lift the throttle, the boost pressure is released from the valve and recirculated through the intake tract. Inadequate/defective valves have extended lag, loss of boost and sluggish throttle response.

APR R1 DV Manufacturing:
The APR R1 Diverter is CNC machined from light weight billet aluminum with a high-temperature Nomex-reinforced diaphragm. It has an anodized black finish with an "APR R1" logo on the sides.

APR R1 Diverter Valve Install:
Installation of the APR R1 valve typically takes about 30-60 minutes. Basic hand tools are necessary for installation, a pick and hose crimp pliers may be needed as well. Please observe all safety precautions and follow proper installation guidelines while working on your vehicle.
