Audi Tuning | VW Tuning

Not sure that I’ve seen a white Mk1 TT come through Achtuning since I’ve personally been here. Being partial to white myself, it was a nice little surprise to see one pull up, and the 225hp version no less!

Kurt was referred to us by Graham at Barrier Audi who assured him the upgrade was an absolute necessity for the car. Kurt has owned the car for quite a few years now and the addition of APR’s ECU Upgrade will make the car feel all new to him again. We hope to see him return for some other Achtuning-goodies.

David had purchased his brand new 2.0T Audi TT Quattro from University Audi . Prior to finalizing his purchase though, he had contacted Achtuning to arrange the pick up of his new TT with Hartmann 252-M Wheels which he knew would better compliment the new coupe when he went to pick it up. Since we work so closely with University Audi, they were able to bring David’s TT to us so we can do “our thing” to it before David picks up his car from them tomorrow…

Tires were sent to us from Tire Rack and David selected a 245/35-19 since a suspension upgrade would likely follow in the coming months. We had the tires already wrapped around the Hartmann 252-Ms when the TT arrived so we began the swap right away. The 38mm offset on 8.5″ wheels made for a great stance considering the suspension hasn’t been touched yet!

David didn’t stop with wheels and tires though. He also wants his 2.0T Quattro Coupe to perform as good if not better than the new TT-S so an APR ECU upgrade was also worked into the deal. The flash took no more than 20-minutes and the TT was already 55+ hp faster!

We took the opportunity to get better acquainted with the new TT while it was here…
