Stasis cat-back exhaust for Audi’s 4.2L V8 S4
Written by dion on August 10, 2009 – 9:11 am -The 4.2L V8 found under the hood of the B7 Audi S4 has a unique growl to it. With very little practice, it doesn’t take much to be able to recognize this low grumble as that of an S4 and you can certainly hear one coming. Despite that, some S4 owners want more and Stasis Engineering has an exhaust system that can give you more – delivering a more audible grumble courtesy of a non-resonated sport cat-back exhaust system.

Listed at $1395, Stasis puts this cat-back in a competitive market – giving S4 owners yet another great quality choice for enhancing the performance and sound of their car. We’ve got a few systems in stock so order yours today!

STaSIS coil-overs a great compliment for a Jetta Variant TDI
Written by dion on February 20, 2009 – 3:41 pm -6 months is a long time when you’re anticipating the delivery of a new car purchase but Joel knew what he wanted and was willing to do what it took to get into this 2009 Jetta Wagon TDI. He was the first to receive a manual version of the TDI Variant in Washington State and we are very happy for him!
Joel dropped off his TDI this morning for a STaSIS Streetsport Coil-Over Kit install which he intends to follow later with a 19″ wheel purchase when funds permit. In the meantime, the coil-overs bring the center of gravity down so Joel can take some “spirited” turns with confidence and reduced body roll. Much of the factory comfort is still retained despite the performance suspension upgrade.
With its new stance this Jetta Variant TDI is sittin’ proper! We can only imagine how much better it will look once we have some of our 19s on there…

STaSIS R8 Exhaust Wrap-Up
Written by dion on January 24, 2009 – 3:57 pm -That was the last picture I got to take before the exhaust was all covered back up by the multi-thousand dollar R8 bumper. With the bumper back on, only those familiar with an R8 would even know this thing has an upgraded exhaust – other than the sound of course.
The final re-assembly process is in motion and we should be done with the exhaust by day’s end. Stay tuned early next week for video footage of this beautiful Audi exotic and the roar of STaSIS Engineering’s Audi R8 exhaust system.

STaSIS R8 Exhaust now going in!
Written by dion on January 24, 2009 – 1:41 pm -Factory exhaust is out…
We’ve got the STaSIS exhaust sitting up front, the factory unit just behind that wrapped in heat shield, and what’s left of the R8!
Pokin’ around to check out all the space left behind when the exhaust was removed, it was cool spottin’ this on the transaxle…
The factory exhaust unit now lies naked without the heat shield wrapped around it. Replacing it with the STaSIS exhaust shaves 30lbs. – a considerable difference for someone who likes to track his R8 like Roman does.
Heat shield now wraps the STaSIS exhaust and we’re now ready to put the car back together!!
