The Red, White, & BBS!
Written by Dion on December 16, 2011 – 4:18 pm -Careful measuring, LOTS of communication back-and-forth, waiting, more communication, then more waiting… We’re told the process had been painful and lengthy to get corrected specs that would make it work, but in the end it was all worth it as Patty now has the first red/white combo’d MINI Cooper running color-matched BBS RS wheels. You’d really be hard pressed to find a better looking example out there! All that was needed was the finishing touch and we were tasked with the installation of NM Engineering’s RSA Spring Kit, mounting and balancing tires on the new rollers, and installing a set of StopTech Street Performance brake parts to improve braking and minimize brake dust.
End result…

NM Engineering for MINI

NM-Engineering performance products have been popular for our local MINI crowd, and Ernie is no exception with his blacked-out John Cooper Works edition, the first of the 2011 models to hit the state! Ernie’s first suspension modification is the NM 22mm Rear Sway Bar.
Install was a breeze and we anticipate Ernie will be back for a coil-over purchase next!

Our announcement this last August about offering NM Engineering’s quality performance products to PacNW MINI owners did not go unnoticed. Neal brought us his R55 MINI Clubman after picking up NME’s cat-back exhaust and high-flow induction kit so we could snap some pics.
The aerospace quality T-304 stainless-steel exhaust is tough to go unnoticed with its 4″ polished tips, laser-etched with NM’s logo. And even if you don’t notice them, the grumble left behind the new exhaust note makes this Clubman tough to miss! Combine that with the throatier sound left behind NME’s high-flow induction kit and you’ll almost forget the car is even a MINI.
