Heath had been itching to get a new set of wheels for his Mk5 Jetta Wolfsburg, and when the time was right, a set of 19×8.5 Hartmann Mesh 305s were chosen. The Mesh 305 continues to be a popular wheel choice with its classic multi-spoke design.

The 48mm offset on an 8.5″ wide wheel with 225/35-19 Falken FK452s bring the face of the wheel closer to the fender then his previous 8″ wheels with a higher offset, widening the stance on the car and giving it that sportier look. Heath mentions suspension is the next choice for an upgrade, one we feel will improve over-all stance significantly as well as help plant all 4 corners to the ground.

It was a sad day when we learned Jake had found his car left in his parking garage without wheels on it. He was once rockin’ the HS5-209 Wheels on his B7 A4 – in fact he was the first local A4 to run the new look. Rather than going with the same look this time around, he took the situation and used it to his favor and picked up a different set of Hartmann Wheels.

Again a first for our local scene, Jake is now running the Mesh 305s with H&R spacers to correct the offset and final stance and we have to say while we knew it would be a good look, the end result is just stunning!

H&R 10mm spacers were used to push the 19×8.5 et48 wheels to a final offset of 38mm where most of the Hartmann 19″ wheels sit on B7 A4s. Jake also made sure to pick up a set of RAD wheel locks in a longer length to clear the spacers, and to further deter thieves from picking on his wheels again.

If the amount of awesome pictures we are receiving from our Canadian customers is any indication the snow must be melting up north. Mathieu’s super clean white Rabbit must be the reason for the higher temperatures as it is hot, hot, hot! Lowered on H&R sport springs with a factory Votex body kit and color matched rub strips does wonders for VW’s entry level car, the 19″ Hartmann Mesh 305s fill out the fenders perfectly while giving a clean OEM+ look.

It’s certainly not often we would expect a VW Eos to come through. We’ve actually chipped this particular Eos 2.0T with APR software last Fall so it was good to see it back. But top it off with the fact the couple who owns this Eos found a set of our Hartmann Mesh 305s in the classifieds to throw on the car made this quite the photo opportunity!

I hear suspension is planned for the car which will really improve the over-all stance as it sits just above the 19×8.5 Hartmann Mesh 305 Wheels. Perhaps we’ll get that chance this Spring.

Tim came by to pick up a set of our Hartmann Mesh 305 wheels for his VW Mk5 GTI. We think the Mesh 305 is a great wheel for the Mk5, and Tim’s car confirms the 305s have found another good home.
