6 months is a long time when you’re anticipating the delivery of a new car purchase but Joel knew what he wanted and was willing to do what it took to get into this 2009 Jetta Wagon TDI. He was the first to receive a manual version of the TDI Variant in Washington State and we are very happy for him!

Joel dropped off his TDI this morning for a STaSIS Streetsport Coil-Over Kit install which he intends to follow later with a 19″ wheel purchase when funds permit. In the meantime, the coil-overs bring the center of gravity down so Joel can take some “spirited” turns with confidence and reduced body roll. Much of the factory comfort is still retained despite the performance suspension upgrade.

With its new stance this Jetta Variant TDI is sittin’ proper! We can only imagine how much better it will look once we have some of our 19s on there…

Josh met us at the Waterwerks show recently where he had a chance to talk to us in person about his plans for his Jetta GLI. After looking over the wheel choices we had available it was decided to go with the Hartmann B7 HRS4 – 252s and a STaSIS coilover kit. The 19 inch Hartmann B7 HRS4 – 252s were an interesting choice as it was the first time we had gone with such an aggressive fitment on a MkV, normally we would do an ET48 offset on an 8.5″ wide wheel for a MKV fitment however this setup is an ET42 which pushes the wheel out by another 6mm!

Jose stopped by yesterday to pick up a set of our 19×8.5″ Hartmann HR8 wheels for his Mk5 GLI. They are a 48mm offset wrapped with 235/35-19 Bridgestone Potenza RE750 tires. With the future plans Jose has in store for his Jetta, I’m excited to see how the wheels will further compliment the car. On to pics…

Darren stopped by after he had a BUNCH of work done to his Mk4 Jetta GLI 1.9T – no, that is not a typo!! This motor has been bored out while receiving fresh, upgraded internals and larger turbo so an APR Stage 3 reflash was necessary. We had a chance to get a shot of the engine bay. You can’t help but notice the APR Motorsport Intake Manifold and Bahn Brenner Fuel Rail… An incredible amount of work!!

In our first segment, we mentioned our intent of running the Hartmann 367 wheel, a Porsche Carrera replica, on our VW Mk4 Jetta.  Well the rear 18×10s in the proper offset arrived not too long ago and we got them on the car finally.

Running Falken 452s in a 245/35 out back, and 215/40s up front to ensure fender clearance considering the low stance, the fit could not be any more perfect!  We’ll let you be the judge…

We’re taking one of our VW Mk4 Jettas and throwing on a set of Hartmann 367 wheels from our Porsche line-up.
