Jane stopped by in her Candy White 4-door Mk6 GTI for yet another Hartmann HROC-233 Wheel test-fit. Simply stunning!

As one of our facebook fans put it, it’s like Christmas in July!  With all these OEM Mercedes Benz and AMG wheels coming in, we’re like little kids in a candy store!  A few more wheels made it out of their boxes yesterday afternoon for quick inspection…

And then a pleasant surprise followed while unloading our Hartmann Wheel container. The factory ended up sending us a new finish for our 20″ Hartmann HRS4-252 Wheel line-up – machined/anthracite!

As promised, we will begin going through our Hartmann Wheel back-orders as quickly as possible.  Only half of what we are expecting is here with plenty more on the way so thanks in advance for your patience while we sort through our inventory and orders!  As for the OEM MB and AMG wheels, we will also post them up with pricing as soon as we can.  Meanwhile, stay tuned here for updates!

With the arrival of two more wheel containers this morning we are plugging away and getting to back-orders as quickly as possible. Most of our shipping will resume by Friday and most of you waiting for Hartmann Wheels should be seeing orders begin to ship soon. But first, we have to put all these away…

Audi’s (B8) A4 2.0T was appropriately the next best vehicle to add to the Achtuning line-up. While we had been considering another vehicle purchase for the shop for quite some time, the stars aligned again just a few days before the 2010 WaterWerks event and we took delivery of this Premium Package, Ibis White Avant. Someone must have told Audi we work best under pressure!

This A4 will be the platform we use to launch our new “Hartmann GT Performance Series” tuning program which we hope to be able to roll out very soon. In short, Hartmann Performance Products including brake, suspension, exhaust, ECU, and engine upgrades will be available in 3 separate packages.

With only two days to prepare for the 2010 WaterWerks event, we figured we’d start small and go with the Hartmann GT-1 Series Performance Tuning Program – an APR ECU upgrade, sport springs, 20″ Hartmann Wheels, and performance brake pads with stainless-steel brake lines. While the GT-1 Series mod list is short, it’s easy to see how small subtle changes can make such a big improvement!
