Tim is one of many members in our Armed Forces serving abroad, eagerly anticipating his arrival back home. One of the many things waiting for him here is a 2011 VW GTI picked up fresh from the dealership and left with us for a complete transformation. More about that later but meanwhile, we’d just like to show Tim what his stock GTI looks like before we get going on the project since he’ll never get a chance to see it in stock form.

Plenty of performance goodies from APR, Carbonio, H&R, Hartmann, and StopTech are planned for this build so stay tuned! Sit back and enjoy the show, Tim! And thank you for the opportunity!!

After swapping out H&R springs for a set of Stasis Streetsport Coil-Overs , Colin stopped by as promised so we could update our gallery with his new stance!

Chris’ “Edition 30″ VW Mk5 GTI just received APR’s Inter-cooler Upgrade, the last item that completed the conversion to S3-engine specs. The inter-cooler is quite a bit larger than the factory unit, 3 times the size in fact at 16.25″ x 2.25″ x 23.2″ wide – but a few minor modifications allow this inter-cooler to sit exactly as the original piece sat.
