The showroom will also be larger than our current one which will allow us to better display our products. John’s Audi TT received a good deal of upgrades courtesy of an APR 3″ turbo-back exhaust and Stasis Streetsport suspension.

The turbo-back exhaust is a completely stainless-steel, mandrel-bent system that looks stunning beneath John’s car. At idle it has a nice low tone, deeper than stock. Once you hit the throttle though the car really makes its presence known.

… From picking up a new set of Hartmann Wheels!

I called Ryan, our first VW Mk5 2.0T TSI customer as it was time to update his APR-tuned ECU with a stock file that was recently released by APR. Since the ECU upgrade and H&R suspension install that was completed this last Fall, Ryan has been itching to do something new to the GTI and he sure wasn’t going to let harsh winter conditions stop him! He had been eying the Hartmann Evolution R5 Wheels for quite some time, and after a few seconds of holding the wheels up to his car yesterday, he made an appointment for install this morning.

Brand new TPM Sensors and all-season Falken 912s in a 225/40-18 were mounted and balanced, then thrown on the car within an hour.  The transformation was more than enough to put a smile on Ryan’s face and satisfy the “mod-bug” he caught.  We both knew the bronze finish on the Evolution R5s would set the car off just right.

In the coming months, we expect Ryan back as he has expressed interest in APR’s RSC turbo-back exhaust system. We also hear a StopTech BBK might also be planned later to fill the blank space now left behind the open-face design of the Evolution R5s. We’ll of course keep you posted with the results.

As common as an “RS4-style” wheel is on an A4, it doesn’t seem to get old. The ever-popular STaSIS Streetsport coil-over kit completed the subtle transformation making the A4 into a “classy” head-turner.

Ariel had a set of Pirelli tires sent to us from Tire Rack in a 245/35-19, the larger of the two commonly chosen tire sizes for 19″ wheels on the B7 A4. When Ariel mentioned interest in the Hartmann 252, a 42mm offset in a 19×8.5 was suggested rather than the more common 38mm version.

APR software, a STaSIS exhaust system, and also pep-up this A4 a bit. In fact the exhaust system alone helped us sell another set-up to a customer visiting us for an APR re-burn. (Thanks Ariel!)

We’ve been anticipating the delivery of the new exhaust system that APR released for the Mk5 GTI 2.0T FSI featuring it’s latest “RSC™ Performance Exhaust Technology” and it’s finally here!!

Reflective Cancellation bounces the undesirable sound waves into each other to attenuate the wave and completely eliminate the low frequency tones that create drone. Each RSC™ muffler is tuned to eliminate specific, undesirable sound frequencies allowing only the engine’s desirable exhaust notes to be heard and improving performance.”

David contacted us about a week ago looking for more power from his B7 A4 2.0 turbo. After a bit of discussion he decided to go with the APR chip for its nice power increase (over 60HP over stock at some RPMS!) as well as its smooth drivability and ability to easily switch back to stock for dealer visits. The APR Exhaust was chosen to add a bit more power and deepen the tone of the exhaust. David also had us install some H&R spacers to get his 19″ RS6 wheels a bit more flush with the fender.

We had a nice opportunity today, 2 B7 S4s getting catback exhausts installed, one customer chose the new STaSIS exhaust and the other chose the APR exhaust.
