We wrapped up the Stasis Streetsport Coil-Over install on Nathan’s A4 last night. After the springs settle we’ll take a look and see how far the wheels can get pushed out with some H&R spacers as Nathan likes the Titanium Package 18″ wheels that came with the car but wants a more aggressive stance.

Jessica and Mark stopped in to show off the new stance of their A4. Jessica purchased STaSIS Streetsport suspension, then put Mark to work so the car was ready for the 2009 Port Townsend Cruise last month.  It’s looking good, girl!

Power, Sound, Style, these are all qualities that the B7 S4 promises from the factory but for enthusiasts stock is never quite good enough. To this end the owner of this B7 S4 came to us to improve upon those qualities, having seen the results of some of the other S4s we have modified here it was decided to go for the STaSIS Ohlins SL coilovers accompanied by a Neuspeed rear swaybar, STaSIS catback exhaust and a set of 19″ Work VS-XX 3-piece wheels with some 245-35-19 Bridgestone RE760s.

The STaSIS Ohlins SL coilovers allow the car to be lowered while retaining stock like comfort levels, the handling of the car is much improved over stock. Our customers have frequently told us that the setup is “perfect”.

The STaSIS catback exhaust fits the B7 S4 perfectly and the sound is excellent, a nice deep rumble that brings a smile to the face every time the car is started.

The 19″ Work VS-XX 3-piece wheels feature a staggered lip which allows for plenty of brake clearance up front with an aggressive looking deep dish in the rear. Work wheels are made in Japan and are one of the highest quality wheels available in the world. The 245-35-19 Bridgestone RE-760s should ensure plenty of traction.

We were lucky enough to have not one but two red B7 A4s here for some mods today, both had our ever popular STaSIS Streetsport coilovers installed. The STaSIS Streetsport coilovers allow the ride height to be set exactly where you want it, they are also preset for perfect damping by STaSIS and are very comfortable while allowing for better feedback and less body lean during cornering. The first B7 we finished today will be getting some custom wheels on it soon and the other was outfitted with our AHartmann 19″ HR8 wheels and 235-35-19 Bridgestone RE-750s.

Just wanted to share pictures of a recent suspension/wheel/tire combination we recently installed on a B7 A4 S-Line. We have yet to see the Hartmann HR8 wheels on a car where it didn’t look good… then the stance the STaSIS Streetsport Coil-Overs gives the car all around helps transform a sharp-looking B7 A4 into an even better looking head turner!

Ken is a longtime Achtuning customer who was looking for a more performance minded wheel and suspension setup for his beautiful Imola yellow B5 S4. After much deliberation the Hartmann B7 HRS4 – 252 wheels were chosen for their light weight and ability to clear his massive StopTech Big Brake Kit.

Ken chose the STaSIS Streetsport coilover suspension to keep the tires planted on the road while still giving a comfortable ride quality.

This combination gave Ken a reduction in unsprung weight as well as a more controlled ride than his previous setup which he had grown out of with the other mods he had done to the car.

Yesterday’s post described the arrival of the newest Ohlin’s SL coil over kit from STaSIS Engineering. Today we had the opportunity to install the kit on Chris’ B7 S4, a certified pre-owned purchase from Barrier Audi. The interesting part though, is that the purchase and installation of this coil over kit was arranged through Barrier Audi. That’s right, the cost of the parts and installation was built into the purchase of this vehicle!!

Chris does not live in Washington so Barrier Audi dropped the car off on Wednesday evening for the installation of the suspension and 19″ B7 HRS4 – 252 wheels the following day. Work was started today at Achtuning, the STaSIS suspension went in smoothly and the car was finished up in about 4 hours.

Chris wanted the car a bit lower than stock but not too low Chris will be flying into Seattle to pick up his S4 and drive it 1,200 miles back to home over the weekend. Thanks Chris, we wish you a safe and enjoyable drive home!

This is the newest suspension kit from STaSIS Engineering, the Ohlins SL coilover kit. Currently offered for the Audi B6 and B7 A4 and S4 the kit is the entry level offering from STaSIS for those vehicles. Priced at almost $1,400 below the STaSIS Motorsport suspension the Ohlins SL kit give much of the same performance without a few of the features found on the Motorsport kit. We’ll be installing this tomorrow on a brand new B7 S4 and that will be a story in itself.
