Presenting their first RSC™ Cat-Back Exhaust System for the new 2.0 TFSI B8 A4 Model Years 2009+, APR now has a complete exhaust system available!

Reflective Sound Cancellation allows for maximum exhaust gas flow while completely eliminating in cabin sound resonance (drone). RSC™ incorporates innovative technologies developed in conjunction with NASA. With limited use of packing materials and no baffles, RSC™ allows for a completely straight and free flowing exhaust path through the RSC™ mufflers. Reflective Cancellation bounces the undesirable sound waves into each other to attenuate the wave and completely eliminate the low frequency tones that create drone. Each RSC™ muffler is tuned to eliminate specific, undesirable sound frequencies allowing only the engine’s desirable exhaust notes to be heard and improving performance.

Unique Exhaust Tip Options (Dual Exit Quad Tip Only):

APR’s RSC™ Performance Exhaust for the B8 A4 Dual Exit Quad Tip system introduces modular tip design that allows the end user to specify an initial tip color of either Stainless Steel or Diamond Black and other tips can be ordered separately and changed at the owner’s pleasure. Be on the lookout for special edition, limited run tip options in the future to make your A4 even more exclusive and individual to your tastes. Installation and removal of exhaust tips can be accomplished easily with only basic hand tools.

Unique Exhaust Tip Outlet Options:

APR’s RSC™ Performance Exhaust for the B8 A4 introduces two unique exhaust tip exit options. Customers may chose to run a quieter single exit dual tip system or a more powerful and more free flowing dual exit quad tip system.

Mark came in to see if we could do anything about his previous exhaust set-up – Apparently the down-pipe was bent after the car had bottomed-out. Ultimately it was determined that a replacement would be needed so Mark selected APR’s full system this time around.

It will be interesting to hear back from Mark about the differences (if any) between his previous exhaust (DeCorsa) and his new APR set-up.
