We’ve got one NEW STYLE being added to the current line-up of German quality Hartmann Wheels (debuting next week!) and one NEW SIZE of the current, popular hit – the HRS6-204-MA in a 22″ diameter for our Audi Q7, VW Touareg, and Porsche Cayenne owners!

We are happy to announce the arrival of the first of 4 Hartmann Wheel containers this morning at Achtuning! Many of our back-orders will begin to ship as early as next week with more shipping after our last container arrives next Thursday. A big “thank you!” to all of those who have patiently waited for us to re-stock some of our most popular styles to date! And stay tuned for some new styles, too.

For every Hartmann Wheel order we receive, each wheel is pulled from the box and inspected prior to shipping. In some cases we find extremely minor cosmetic imperfections created during the paint process at manufacturing, typically 1mm or less in size and found on the face of the wheel. As we are very picky with what we send out as a “new” wheel, these “blems” are set aside and offered to those who agree the blemishes are minor enough to purchase at a discount.  Interested in one of these “blem” wheels yourself?  Check out what we’ve got and let us know which set you want us to ship to you!  Please call to order as these deals are not available for purchase online. Now that we’ve got our 3 container wheel delivery all sorted and our back-orders contacted (if you’re reading this and haven’t heard from us about a back-order please contact us immediately!) we now have our inventory replenished, for the most part. We’ve also brought in a few new sizes and specs in existing wheels which we are excited to announce!

This new matte-anthracite finish has been a hit for us this last year and the 20″ version sold out quickly. We’re working on getting the 20×9 +40 size back in stock but meanwhile we have a new 18×8 +32 and 19×8.5 +38 to offer. We took an opportunity to test-fit another set of new Hartmann Wheels on our VW CC, this time the HRS6-204-MA wheel. The matte-anthracite finish is relatively new to us and has really become a customer favorite! Perhaps we’ll see more of our Hartmann Wheels offered in this finish.

In 30+ years, this is the first time Hartmann Wheels has their own center cap! 

Achtuning is proud to offer a free set of Hartmann Wheel caps with every Hartmann Wheel order. Hartmann Wheels are still compatible with select OE wheel caps for those looking for a “factory look.”

Karl dropped by with a set of Bilstein PSS9 coilovers he purchased and had us install them yesterday.  We were excited to see the final results as he comes equipped with a set of one of our newest Hartmann Wheels, the Hartmann HRS6-204 wheels in a matte-anthracite/machined finish.  The wheels are 20 inches in diameter and 9 inches wide with a 40mm offset offering a more aggressive fitment then what comes from the factory, and leaves plenty of room to play with tire sizes, ride height, and even spacers should one decide they want that real aggressive look!

Bilstein PSS9 coilovers offer 9-way compression rebound adjustment almost at a flip of the switch.  Dials located at the bottom of each shock absorber allows you to decide just how soft or stiff you want your vehicle to handle.  Karl was looking for OEM-like comfort but wanted more performance out of his suspension and the PSS9s are dialed in (at position #6) to give him just what he was looking for.  The A4 really does ride comfortably around the street but when put through its paces in the corners the PSS9s keep all 4 corners planted offering plenty of stability and instilling driver confidence.

The Achtuning “signature” ride height leaves roughly a two-finger gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender and the suspension is expected to settle slightly within a week’s worth of driving. Pictured below are images of the suspension immediately after install and we are very happy to see the results. The matte-anthracite/machined finish is a great compliment to Karl’s black A4 and we can’t wait to see what he does next.

We’ve added yet another new finish to a popular wheel, the Hartmann HTT-256-GA:M - a gloss-anthracite/machined finish!

Our first local install was on Chris’ Audi allroad. Chris had originally been on the back-order list for the matte-anthracite/machined finish but the long delay and the debut of this new style made him come in earlier and switch out his order. Adding 20mm H&R spacers to the 19×8.5 +38 wheels, the final look is just what we would expect for an enthusiast owned allroad. See for yourself!

You’re looking at the first installed set of the BRAND NEW Hartmann HRS6-204 wheel in the matte-anthracite finish! Karl picked up his brand new A4 from University Audi this morning and drove it straight to Achtuning for a wheel upgrade and an APR ECU tune!

The wheels are 20×9 with a 40mm offset wrapped with 255/30-20s and the car currently sits at stock ride height. We’ve got plenty of these wheels in stock and will be adding them to the site shortly. Meanwhile, give us a call at 425-895-0000 to place your order!
