Koni’s SS coil-over suspension kits are designed specifically for each Audi model and configuration. The ride will feel similar to the factory Audi suspension but with more control. In addition to the comfortable ride the Koni SS coilover kit will stiffen the suspension just enough to improve the steering response and minimize body roll. The spring rate is chosen for your vehicle and driving use. The Koni SS suspension kit includes the following components:

• KONI Cadmium Plated, Adjustable Dampers
• Koni Progressive Springs
• UHMWPE Spring Perch Bearings

Many spring and shock combinations lower the car more than most drivers want. Spring and shock combinations are rarely designed to work in concert with the rest of the suspension and thus make for poor handling and ride quality. The KONI SS Coilovers give you the ability to choose where you want the ride height to be while giving you the damping control you need.

This kit uses Koni’s twin-tube dampers featuring Sport valving. Additional features include a corrosion resistant cadmium plated damper body, damping adjustability and height adjustability. Rebound is adjustable while the damper is off of the car. Most customers find that changing the settings after installation isn’t necessary. Rear dampers feature the same performance as the front dampers.

Note:
The rear suspension of of many Audi and Volkswagen vehicles uses a seperate perch for the spring. Due to this design a “true” coilover is not possible in the rear of those vehicles however an adjustable perch is included for height adjustability.

We wrapped up the Stasis Streetsport Coil-Over install on Nathan’s A4 last night. After the springs settle we’ll take a look and see how far the wheels can get pushed out with some H&R spacers as Nathan likes the Titanium Package 18″ wheels that came with the car but wants a more aggressive stance.

Jarvis left us his B7 A4 with us this morning. With chronic nose-bleed issues related to high altitude, four out of five doctors recommend Stasis Streetsport Coil-Overs for the prescribed suspension treatment. Jessica and Mark stopped in to show off the new stance of their A4. Jessica purchased STaSIS Streetsport suspension, then put Mark to work so the car was ready for the 2009 Port Townsend Cruise last month.  It’s looking good, girl!

Chris drove down from Vancouver, BC and left us his Audi B7 A4 to get some work done. Chris had us install the Stasis Streetsport Coil-Overs , APR Snub Mount , and APR turbo-back exhaust while taking in some of the local sights.

We hope to see Chris return later for some Hartmann Wheels to compliment his new stance – only time will tell!

Then there’s Andrew in Hawaii…

He had contacted me about a month ago talking about the different things he wanted to do to his B7 Audi S-Line A4 Avant. He had settled on some Hartmann HRS4 – 252 HB wheels in a 19×8.5″ size and 38mm offset. We sent the wheels wrapped with Dunlop Sport Maxx tires in a 235/35-19 properly mounted and balanced so Andrew would be able to bolt the new wheels to his car immediately after opening the packaging. He was kind enough to send us the pictures he took with the new wheels.

To improve the stance and handling, Andrew called us back to order up a set of STaSIS Streetsport Coil-overs , a pair of H&R 8mm spacers , and an OEM RS4 rear sway bar we picked up from Barrier Audi. He also added the Carbonio Cold Air Intake to the order and we heard the items safely reached the tropics. We look forward to more updates and progress pictures from Andrew as this Avant progresses into one mean grocery getter!
