APR’s ECU software upgrade specific to the K04 turbo is being loaded next to ensure proper management of the upgraded components and then we’ll tackle suspension and brakes in our next installment!

Chris’ “Edition 30″ VW Mk5 GTI just received APR’s Inter-cooler Upgrade, the last item that completed the conversion to S3-engine specs. The inter-cooler is quite a bit larger than the factory unit, 3 times the size in fact at 16.25″ x 2.25″ x 23.2″ wide – but a few minor modifications allow this inter-cooler to sit exactly as the original piece sat.
