Are you “Achtuned!”?

“Achtuned!” is a term I’ve been giving to cars that have received the “Achtuning Touch” – be it ECU massaging courtesy of APR ECU software upgrades, performance suspension by H&R or Stasis, APR and Stasis exhausts, or Stasis/Alcon or StopTech brakes, those who have been “Achtuned!” are showing it proudly!

Tara is the owner of this VW New Beetle and she sends us her best from the Wichita, KS area. Formerly a short-time resident of Washington, she had her New Beetle upgraded with APR software with us. She rocks her Achtuning sticker proudly as you can see in the picture above.

Mark & Carrie – road trip 2009!

Mark & Carrie, the two that started the Achtouring trend last summer are back on a road-trip for 2009. They are on their way to Black Hills and Mount Rushmore and sent the following picture from their journey…

More pictures have been promised as they continue their journey. I look forward to their updates and you can count on me sharing them here with you.

Customer support in the gaming community

It means a lot to us when our customers show their enthusiasm towards the Achtuning brand. It’s not the first time we’ve been sent examples of how much we are appreciated by our customers and we can’t thank you all enough for the continued support! The “achtouring” trend continues…

Lance sent me these pictures last week of cars he’s been “modding” and designing on his X-Box Forza II game. The first example is his B6 Audi A4 DTM racer. The car features the Achtuning “A” on the hood and “Achtuning” logos on side panels, rear bumper, and windshield banner. The second is his VW R32 featuring logos on hood and side panels.

Just so you know, we didn’t send Lance our logos either. Not only is it tough to come up with a racing design theme on a car, it’s a challenge to integrate our Achtuning name on the game when it’s not available for use in the first place. Many props to you, Lance!
