We did? Oh… well I guess we have to apologize then as we can’t seem to get enough of it! The new RS6 style, the Hartmann HRS6 – 204 is a unique style that we had to see on yet another local car.

I asked Corey to come in so we could borrow his B6 A4 and test-fit the Hartmann HRS6 – 204 wheels seeing as how the stance on his car would really set things off! The stance, car, and wheel combo did not disappoint!

Came out great! I think Corey’s 19″ HR8 wheels are up for sale now…

We announced earlier last week about the arrival of one of our new wheel styles, the Hartmann HRS4-252 MA. The “M” stands for “machined” and this wheel is exactly that – a machined face with deep-colored pockets and inner wheel barrel that makes the face of the wheel “pop”.

Ryne had an interest in some of our 19″ wheels but wasn’t quite sure without seeing them in person which set-up to go with, especially with news about a container arriving from Italy with a few new styles. After installing the STaSIS coil-over kit on his B6 A4, Ryne had us install our latest Hartmann B7 HRS4 – 252-MA, the machined version of the split-seven spoke RS4 style wheel. The anthracite colored pockets and wheel barrel make the face of the wheel stand out, offering a nice contrast to Ryne’s black A4. 19×8.5 and a 38mm offset is the size available to fit the B6 A4 and the stance is just about right!

It didn’t take much to make Ariel’s B7 Audi S-Line A4 to get from this…

As common as an “RS4-style” wheel is on an A4, it doesn’t seem to get old. The ever-popular STaSIS Streetsport coil-over kit completed the subtle transformation making the A4 into a “classy” head-turner.

Ariel had a set of Pirelli tires sent to us from Tire Rack in a 245/35-19, the larger of the two commonly chosen tire sizes for 19″ wheels on the B7 A4. When Ariel mentioned interest in the Hartmann 252, a 42mm offset in a 19×8.5 was suggested rather than the more common 38mm version.

APR software, a STaSIS exhaust system, and also pep-up this A4 a bit. In fact the exhaust system alone helped us sell another set-up to a customer visiting us for an APR re-burn. (Thanks Ariel!)

With the Fall Season starting here in the Pacific Northwest, this Audi S8 was brought in this morning after Blizzak tires were delivered the other day from Tire Rack. This customer is thinking ahead and getting prepared for winter driving conditions.

In order to keep the over-all look of the car the same with the factory Audi S8 wheel, 19″ Hartmann HS8-454 wheels had been selected to replace the stock 20″ version during the winter season and it was clear the similarity in wheel style would suit our customer.

And finally with the wheels on, it was almost as if we never even touched the car…

And in an attempt to get a little more acquainted with the D3 S8, some pictures of the different eye-catching features…

Could it get much better?

When Jose came to us in July to pick up a set of Hartmann HR8 Wheels and Bridgestone tires, we had asked him to return once the H&R springs we sold him ended up on the car with its new stance so we could take pictures… As promised, here is how she sits now – such an improvement!

Jose was experimenting with the look of a color-matched rear valence and now that he likes the look, he has an appointment scheduled with his body shop to get the sides and front valences painted to match as well.

Keeping with tradition, we of course had another busy Friday today. Almost every US-represented German make showed up for one thing or another…

First we have Definitive Motors bringing by a Mercedes SLK280. The Hartmann 280B Wheel is a replica of a wheel found on an SLK55 and was a great “upgrade” for this car at only $240 a wheel!!

Christian brought us his 2008 Audi A3 tFSI. This black-on-black beauty received STaSIS Streetsport Coil-Overs midly dropping the car and giving it the stance most of enthusiasts are after. Wheels are apparently next on the list although the stock wheels still look good on this application…

APR chipping is almost a daily occurrence at Achtuning…

An Audi C5 A6 4.2L currently sits on the lift as it is getting the StopTech Stage 2 brake upgrade. When in need of new rotors and pads, StopTech’s stage kits offer a complete package with better stopping power.

We were visited by three Pacific Northwest (vwvortex forum) members yesterday… They were here to pick up new sets of 19s for their Audis.

First, we have Mike and his beautiful wife Charlotte’s C5 A6 2.7T… Lowered on KW suspension, this car hugs the 19″ Hartmann G5 wheels so tightly, the tie rods are about to pop!

I hear Mike plans to bring the fronts down even more!!

Then we’ve got “Gaki”. Originally planning to go with a set of clearanced TSW wheels, he talked himself into our Hartmann line with the HR8 wheels in 19×8.5 and a 38mm offset. Lowered on STaSIS Streetsport Coil-Overs, the stance on this B7 A4 with the Hartmann HR8 wheels is just stunning. Good choice, Anthony.

It’s tough… I have yet to see the Hartmann 252 wheel NOT compliment any of the VWs or Audis we put them on.  There are a few wheels that we consider as a “classic” wheel style – no matter what you put them on, they will continue to look good.  It seems the Hartmann B7 HRS4 – 252 wheel is one of them.

Today, we had a customer drive down from Vancouver, B.C. with friends and family to enjoy the sights of Seattle while we added wheels and tires to their car.  Below is a B6 A4 1.8T rockin’ our Hartmann 252 in a 19×8.5″ size and 38mm offset.  Wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE750 tires in 235/35-19, the aggressive stance pushes the wheel towards the edge of the fender to give that “bulldog” stance that we at Achtuning like to see.

Jose stopped by yesterday to pick up a set of our 19×8.5″ Hartmann HR8 wheels for his Mk5 GLI. They are a 48mm offset wrapped with 235/35-19 Bridgestone Potenza RE750 tires. With the future plans Jose has in store for his Jetta, I’m excited to see how the wheels will further compliment the car. On to pics…
