Seoul Auto Salon attendance a success!
Written by Dion on July 13, 2009 – 9:12 am -Back to the show prep, I saw this picture of flag at Eurotuners, which I wanted to replicate..
I ended up with a flag for each generation of GTI.

We also got the floor plan from the host, which is now completed with final banners and logos.

Not with the same cars, but it will look like this when everything is done & ready for the show.

After several days & nights of struggling, we were able to get all 5 GTI’s ready for the show.

Let’s all drive to the COEX at Samsung-dong, where the show is hosted.

APR crest on Chris’ GTI was not yet applied, so we had to work on the last minute.

No one has done such work, so we had to basically go at it & see what happens.

Luckily, we had some talented guys with us, so it worked out.

The show begins… and we got the pass.

Booth is better than I expected, thanks to so many friends who helped.

Back of the booth, picture courtesy of arin @ APR.

Mk5 GTI 2.0T, owned by Chris Park @ VAG. APR Stage2+ HPFP and full of OSIR CF parts.

Mk4 GTI 1.8T AGU engine with Ruddel chip, OZ wheels, Brembo brake, Recaro seat, etc..

Mk3 GTI VR6, owned by my brother, car was being sold during the show.

Mk2 GTI 16v 4door from Europe, with full Reiger body kit

My Mk1 replacement, Mk2 shell with Mk3 power train with single round headlight

And they are finally at the booth together.

At the display, we had several APR products, including S3 ED30 K04 kit that pushes GTI to 320hp.

I also had array of Haldex products at the booth.

Thanks to Billy @ Norpac, I had key badges for sale (but sale was low).

Modified version of Achtuning T shirts.

Me & Jeffrey at the booth.

To be continued…
