Cayenne Turbo gets a big bump in power thanks to APR chip tuning
18 11 2008Car Nutz Customz in Bellevue, WA brought us this 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo after they had installed a Fabspeed exhaust system, including down-pipes - what a monstrous roar this thing has!
This thing is a MONSTER! 440 hp and 450 lb. ft. of torque in stock form, and the APR software we’re loading pushes power to an APR-claimed 493 hp and 544 lb. ft. of torque (on 93-octane). The neck-snapping power in stock form is incredible, especially considering how big and heavy this thing is. You honestly forget you’re in an SUV. Car Nutz is also responsible for the 23″ Rinspeed wheels this thing is sittin’ on and they electronically lowered the suspension to improve the stance with it’s new shoes. Rinspeed pedals concluded their interior “upgrade”.
The interior comes with the usual leather, brushed aluminum, and carbon trim found in many Porsches I’ve seen come through here. It’s nice to actually see this thing gets driven regularly! The all-suede headliner and pillars are always a nice touch (to me) considering all us VW guys are always trying to upgrade our’s with the soft, plush material.
Now for a drive now that it’s chipped!
