Torquey little Tiggy!
Written by Dion on June 24, 2009 – 11:55 am -Mike wanted to try out the APR ECU Upgrade for his 2.0T VW Tiguan prior to the Leavenworth Cruise. He tows a trailer frequently and while he reports the factory torque specs are typically enough to haul around without much difficulty, he wanted to see how much more different the APR software would handle things.
APR’s claim of 254 hp and 297 lbs per ft of torque was quickly felt when Mike left our facility as he reported he was able to spin all 4s with traction control still engaged! We’re waiting for him to report back with how the Tiguan handled itself on its way and back from Leavenworth.
