Progress continues on Jon’s “wide body” project
Written by Dion on June 16, 2009 – 9:59 am -Jon rolled out to JMI this last Monday to check on progress on body work of his B6-S4-to-B7-RS4 wide body project, a nice alternative to his usual dreary Mondays.
He picked up a set of triple squares this last weekend so he could pull the seats out of the car. A half cage and fresh paint will later end up inside the car. Jeff@JMI started cutting the rear quarter panels off of the S4 last week, too. When Jon arrived he had one side of the car together already! He’s going to finish the passenger side this week and start work on fitting the S6 LEDs to the front bumper.
According to Jon, it looks like they should be able to hit the car with primer this week and paint the next!
