Hi,

im purchasing a well loved and well cared for Audi tt 180bhp quattro for my wife... as well as something i can play in over the weekend! its done 119k miles but as i say has a full history and has been well cared for.

Coming from a tuning back ground in the uk i'd like to see what it is i can do to it... im presuming the usual, exhaust, air intake and remap? do these need to be all done at once? or can it be modular? if it can be done modular, does the map need to be altered to accomodate them? if so would i have to pay each time it is changed?

any info would be greatly appreciated, im in Redmond too so location is great!

David thanks for your questions and sorry I didn't see this until after your visit to Achtuning. For anyone else curious about the same questions, ECU mapping (via APR software) is specific to the modifications performed on the vehicle. However these "updates" are performed free of charge and the modifications can be done in "steps".

I have a 01 gti and im wanting to mount of bbs wheels with an offset of +43. i was wondering what size spacer i would need, or if i would need any.

Common offset on a Mk4 is around 35mm. Whether a spacer is needed or not depends on the wheel - based on the wheel's high offset and the common Mk4 35mm offset, it may not hurt to use spacers any way to obtain a proper-looking stance.

Considering we're only open Monday through Friday, a Sunday appointment would not be possible, sorry. Perhaps on a holiday or day off... Otherwise, we are available online 24/7 (online shopping)
