Ryan dropped off his MkV GTI the other day so we could swap some Hartmann Mesh 305′s on. The Mesh 305s are 19×8.5″ ET48 which fits perfectly on a lowered MkV and the hyper silver on black combination really makes them pop!

STaSIS Engineering (thank you Jason) is giving everyone a sneak-peak at the parts currently being developed for the Audi R8. Pictured above and featured in the video below is their new exhaust system currently in testing. STaSIS Engineering is about 30-days away from debuting exhaust, brake, and suspension upgrades for Audi’s 4.2FSI R8.

Mark came in to see if we could do anything about his previous exhaust set-up – Apparently the down-pipe was bent after the car had bottomed-out. Ultimately it was determined that a replacement would be needed so Mark selected APR’s full system this time around.

It will be interesting to hear back from Mark about the differences (if any) between his previous exhaust (DeCorsa) and his new APR set-up.

The new B8 chassis Audi A4 had required us to make a few changes to the Hartmann Wheel line-up due to the new wheel hub center-bore size of 66.6mm from the previous 57.1mm. Achtuning is happy to announce the availability of the following wheel styles for B8 Audi A4 fitment.

Mark stopped by to show off the new finish on his “winter” set-up… These are Hartmann New Turbo wheels in 18″. Mark had picked these up last year but decided to rattle-can them black for this winter season – a far improvement from the previous look that goes well with Mark’s smoked theme.

Got a chance to get an up-close and personal look at the B8 Audi S5 today…

What a gorgeous car!! Ian brought us his Audi S5 as he is looking to pick up a set of 18″ B7 HRS4 – 252 wheels for the up-coming winter season. We sat down with him and worked out some good numbers and will wait for his winter tires to arrive from Tire Rack before we can update you with his winter-wheel look. We are also working out a deal on some STaSIS Ohlins coil-overs and our Hartmann HS5 – 209 wheels by the time Spring arrives. In the meantime, my up-close-and-personal pictures of the S5 as I got to know it a bit more…

Fantastic interior with the red leather, brushed aluminum, and carbon fiber accent pieces!!

Brushed aluminum accents are also carried on outside the car, with front and rear valence splitters and brushed mirror covers.

Ian also has European headlight and tail light assemblies on order that we will help him install, the rears I assume will be upgraded to an LED version.
