We’re taking one of our VW Mk4 Jettas and throwing on a set of Hartmann 367 wheels from our Porsche line-up.

We’ll keep you posted on our progress.

Nash really wanted to do a STaSIS BBK on his A3 2.0T, unfortunately finding a wheel that clears a BBK in the high offset to fit the A3 was going to necessitate using custom 3 piece Work wheels which were a bit out of the budget at the moment.

In the end he decided to leave the brakes alone and go with 18″ Hartmann B7 RS4-252 wheels with some Bridgestone Potenza S-02 tires. The ET 47 wheels were chosen to avoid rubbing and a 5mm H&R spacer was used in the rear to even the look out with the fronts.

New TPMS units also had to be sourced as Nash plans to use his old wheels for winter usage.

And now that the wheels are on Nash has a 4 hr drive to look forward to early tomorrow morning, get some rest buddy!

He bought the wheels last week, but with tires still enroute from Tire Rack, Tim Mills had to wait before he could actually have the Hartmann Mesh 305 wheels he purchased mounted to his Mk5 GTI.

We think the Mesh 305 is a great wheel for the Mk5, and Tim’s car confirms the 305s have found another good home.

Congratulations on your new wheels, Tim! We trust you will enjoy them.

This turbo had 50 miles on it. He now knows the value of a good mechanic. When we took the turbo out the feed line to the turbo was completely plugged. This was the third turbo installed…you can’t warranty a bad install. Don’t skimp on your mechanic!

We had a nice opportunity today, 2 B7 S4s getting catback exhausts installed, one customer chose the new STaSIS exhaust and the other chose the APR exhaust. We made a clip showing the results of both, this was slightly impromptu and in the future we will have clips with better audio quality.You can find more pics and information on both systems on our Achtuning.com website.

Well I suppose a lot of you may know what a blog is if you use the internet much, for those who don’t a Blog is a “Web log” which is a sort of journal kept online and meant to be viewed publicly. We’ll be using it to tell more of the exciting “behind the scenes” story of life here at your favorite tuning shop.  I’ve never Blogged myself and I don’t think anyone else here has so it will be something new for all of us and I hope you enjoy!

Since our main page is getting reconfigured currently I should fill everyone in on recent news and specials. We have recently started carrying STaSIS exhausts for Audis, they fit great and sound mean, you can hear it for yourself on our first Youtube video.

We also recently added Google Checkout to Achtuning.com which gives customers added flexibility when ordering and a super fast checkout as well! Some other recent additions are the ability to give specific product reviews for all to see as well as a wishlist that will let you save parts you’re interested in and even e-mail the list to someone else. For Specials we currently have all Hartmann replica wheels for Audi and Volkswagen on a free shipping special! This is in addition to the free shipping on the other 90% of products we carry here.
