Achtuning is pleased to present APR’s latest, the APR Shifter Cable Bracket!  Through countless years of processional racing, APR Motorsport identified the factory shifter cable bracket system as a source of sloppy shifts, missed gears, bracket and bushing failure and even transmission failure. The factory shifter cable bracket is made from plastic with rubber bushings. Over time the bushings wear out, and during long races, heat can cause the bracket to flex and break. To alleviate all issues related with the factory design and not just some, APR’s Mechanical Engineers created the ultimate and final upgrade:The APR Solid Shifter Cable Bracket.

APR has just released a high flow, Turbo Muffler Delete for various 1.8T and 2.0T engines featuring an IHI turbo.

All too often OEM components must sacrifice various performance minded characteristics in an effort to appeal to a wide variety of customers. While an enthusiast typically wants better boost response and more power, all while hearing the turbocharger breath, a non-enthusiast may give up these characteristics for a quieter ride. In the case of the factory IHI turbocharger, a turbo muffler, or Pulsations-schalldämpfer, is positioned at the compressor outlet and is designed to reduce engine bay acoustics.

The APR Turbo Muffler Delete replaces the factory muffler with a straight, uninterrupted piece, CNC-machined from billet aluminum and anodized black. To ensure proper sealing, APR’s engineers took a two-part approach. A Viton seal is included and forms a seal between the base of …

More Power from APR for your VW Golf R!

APR has just released their Stage 3 GTX Low Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP) software update for the Golf R, S3 and TT-S!

The APR Stage 3 GTX Turbocharger System for the VW (MK6) Golf R, Audi S3 , and Audi TT-S is the pinnacle of performance without compromise and APR is pleased to announce additional components and software designed to increase output even further. Utilizing the APR Low Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP), APR’s Calibration Experts were able to exploit mid range fueling headroom to add an additional 23 horsepower and 24 ft-lbs of torque. Expect even higher peak horsepower figures of 452 on 93 AKI fuel and up to 485 HP on race fuel. This directly translates into a more enjoyable driving experience with more power on tap across the entire RPM range.

The APR downpipe exhaust system is a perfect upgrade for any RS4 owner looking to get the most out of their 4.2L FSI V8.  The system features a completely unrestrictive design capable of supporting power output far beyond that of a fully built APR Stage 3+ TVS1740 supercharged engine.Built as a direct OEM replacement, the downpipes are simple to install and provide more than adequate clearance from surrounding hardware. By removing four large and restrictive OEM catalytic converters, the downpipes provide a clear path for exhaust gasses exiting the headers. Connection to the factory catback exhaust is made simple by utilization of the factory hardware….
