Months before the MK6 was released we were able to get our hands on a shiny new red MK6, vin number 64. We quickly began developing products after we stopped drooling over the new setup. One of the first items strapped to the vehicle was a shiny new stage III turbocharger kit that put down around 385 ftlbs of torque and 370 HP. The car was fitted with BBS wheels, Sachs performance Suspension, and Alcon big brakes. She was a beautiful car.

A 42 Draft Designs down-pipe was Justin’s next source for power in his VW Tiguan. The Mk5 GTI specific down-pipe needed modification to fit but once complete, “pepped up” both sound and performance on this GTI-like utility mini-SUV.

Once we were done with the performance side of things, Justin asked us to space out his factory wheels to achieve a more aggressive stance since he already had it lowered on H&R springs. We ended up with H&R’s 15mm DR spacer up front, and 12mm spacers out back – end result is exactly what Justin was after.

Kris had picked up a set of the Hartmann HTTRS Wheels for his Passat CC a few weeks back, and we were very interested to see what the final outcome would be. Knowing though that the stance wouldn’t be exactly what Kris would want us to take pictures of, he made sure to have us throw on a set of the Koni SS coil-overs first, a bargain at the price of $1199!

Once installation was complete, Kris’ CC was rolled up front for pictures. We were unbelievably amazed at how well the CC wore the HTTRS Wheels – of course the suspension had MUCH to do with it.

Every now and then we come across a style of wheel we’re not so sure about. But we like to mix things up a bit and see what our valued customers are after.

This Scirocco sits properly over these “Quantum” Wheels thanks to Mark Lambert’s Photoshopping skills. The wheels are staggered, 19×8.5 up front and 19×9.5 rears. Offsets aren’t yet known but clearly they would apply with VW Mk5/6 fitments.
